Q&A: 2-Year-Old Scars?

by LeAnn Cyr |

Q&A: Dr Cyr, in June 2017 I had underarm surgery. It wasn’t what I expected and my scars are still very visible. A friend of mine just had surgery and posted your products on FB. I was curious if anything would help with 2-year-old scars? I’ve tried so many products and haven’t had any luck...

"I think it’s worth a try if you combine the Tretinol 1% and restorative cream to perform scar massage. It may help lighten the scar and make the skin more supple. I would apply the restorative a couple of times a day, applying downward pressure on the scar and massaging along the length of the scar in a circular motion. Apply the Tretinol cream nightly for skin turnover. Please let us know if you see progress. It may take 6 weeks to see a difference." ~Dr Cyr
